The 2019 SARANG: the Festival of India on Nami Island was held from October 12- 13.
SARANG, a Festival of India held in Korea, presented by the Embassy of India in Korea in association with Nami Island, is an noteworthy platform
between the two nations. Since its beginning in 2015, SARANG, the Festival of India on Nami Island, has celebrated the fourth anniversary,
with "Fall in Sarang with India" as this year’s theme. The festival is a celebration of India's cultural dynamism that blends classical
and contemporary art, aimed to create and build partnerships.
This year, the festival expanded its contents with a variety of cultural programs including the performance ‘Kaphil Sharma Bharatanatyam Dance,’
the exhibition ‘The Original Handmade Illustration of Indian Tribe X Tara Books,’ and several hands-on activities, bringing the essence of India right to Nami Island.
