In 2019, Nami Island Arts & Education signed an MOU with the Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava (BIB) to enhance mutual exchanges and cooperation.
Based on deep trust and cooperation, Nami Island and BIB have been promoting the development of children's picture book illustrations around the world and striving to expand exchanges by exhibiting each other's award-winning works.
In 2017, ‘Grand Prix BIB 1967-2015: Biennial of Illustration Bratislava, Slovakia’ was held on Nami Island, displaying BIB award-winning works at the 2017 Nami Island International Children’s Book Festival in May. Similarly, Nami Concours (Nami Island International Picture Book Illustration Concours) award-winning works were also on display at the Slovak National Museum from September to October 2017.
